about the cam quality on newer k750's.....that is indeed true.... i have tested like 3 or 4 k750 phones from different manufacturing datesand the newer ones have a lesser quality camera sensor.... i will post some examples when i get home.... in the meantime... everyone can do this.... take your k750, dont mind the drivers, and take a photo in a place with low lights without adding any effect( no macro, no nicght mode, nothing) and put that photo on the forum.... so we can see your camera flaws (mostly visible with low light)
yer olde k750
yer newer k750
yer crappier k550

yeah on new k750 you can see horizontal and vertical lines on the screen in low light conditions.
but this thing was not there with the old k750.
i think i will get the camera part replaced today and see what happens.

final result
i have changed the camera of new k750 with old k750. And the pictures are much sharp and clear. Specially in low light conditions.
old k750 is much much better because they were expensive at that time.
and yes more you pay more you get thing works her.

so, as you can see guys, the camera on the older models of the k750 is better than the camera of ther more recent ones.... the method of getting the photos was quite simple... just taking a photo under low light conditions with each one on normal mode, to see the artifacts that the sensor displays in the image capturing process.... as you can see, even when the 3 images have very poor quality, the image from the older k750 has more quality than those that are called its successors... simply because there were higher quality comoponents used on it.... i deare to say that the casecould be the same with the k790-k800 family, cuz i took a picture yesterday in the same conditions as the other phones, and it didn't display horizontal and verical lines, but displayed moderate quantities of noise...compared with the first ones tha i saw when i saw it for the first time like a year ago(but that's only a supposition created by me). check this photo and compare it to your k790-k800 phones to see if i am wrong... by the way, i shot it at 2mp resolution to see the differences at that resolution with the k750.....
k790a, @2mp, original drivers, no effects
PD: i have a question... i have disarmed k750's, w800's w810's, etc... but i have never noticed if the camera of the k750 is the same model or compatible with the w810 camera.... we know k750=w800, an that w810 is just a better w800, but.... are the cameras the same... cuz i want to repair a w810 to keep it, and also i want to sell my k750 to get some money to buy a k850 when the time comes, but i want to keep the camera on the w810, and i dont have my tool box here so i cant disarm them at the moment.... what can you say about this....

i again comapared my pics with a year old k750... and now im convinced that the older k750s were definitely better!!!
in daylight, my pics are yellowish... in auto white balance...
even after comparing pics at different white balance settings, the older k750 still manages to capture better!!!
