Wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't. P1 has the same old processor that P990 has.
P1 is not the successor of P990. That's why. K850 is the K800 successor. Get my hint?

does it really matter if k850 has a 250 or 300 mhz? still it's non symbian so what's the use of having a better processor? 0,5 of 1 second faster to save pictures? come on!

Well it is someone's successor, either P990 or M600.

Absolutelly.
It's not only when saving pics, it's an overall-usability impression.
Moreover if this phone is targeted as a camera phone, it should be very speedy when dealing with camera tasks.
My K800 is quite slow when turned on and handshaking with my phone provider, and sometimes when accessing the phonebook or navigating through menus, when plugging the USB cable..... it looks like the phone is busy doing something else...
I not talking as "unusable" but if it had a snap of speed more, it would be perfect.
It has:
- 65MB phone memory free
- 655MB memory stick free, out of 1GB
- 333 contacts in phone mem
- 0 contacts in SIM
- 93 events

Erm, no. Not that either. It's a new product line, so to speak, in the P-series.

Here's another one:
Shall we talk about how many seconds it takes to show a pic @ full res.?
2 seconds?
Too much!

no its not. how can an entirely new product line only differ from M600 only in camera department? Its an M600 replacement.
