Now that Nokia already has their new Media Transfer software, combined with this news, we have a true iPhone-killer... after they add 3G that runs on the 850/1900 MHz frequencies!

Hi all,
The thecoolsha is 100% correct they are confirmed to be released by Year end and i have seen pictures of the 8gb running in an E90 as SanDisk has sent out cards to be tested working as they did with the now available 4gb cards. So this is not a rumour or wishful thinking it is confirmed as real and coming soon, as SDHC is a standard if it works and is supported in a device the size is irrelevant and will support what ever size card is available.
IMO the fact these cards are also hot swappable means that there really is no need to supply the device with large amounts of storage so this means they can keep prices down for the basic device and allow users to decide how much storage they want or need offering far greater flexibility.
To be honest i some how doubt they will remove the GPS and now AGPS as there really would be little point. Personally i haven't used this feature on my N95 and seriously doubt i ever will.
Marc

-I can't understand why they would remove GPS...makes no sense to me if its true.
Have to say, it looks very good in all respects - this really could be an amazing piece of kit.

The GPS is build in the motherboard ! The whole cellphone has been designed with gps sensitivity in mind ! It can be 'disabled' by firmware version but to remove it altogether a new motherboard must be designed ! I rather think a different cell phone will be released, the same as the N95 but without gps.
