. I'd prefer monochrome over a cheap, dull, pixellated colour screen which is nigh impossible to see in bright sunlight. But in terms of marketability, a colour screen always sounds better, no matter how you spin it.

Yes, it was a breath of fresh air. But practically speaking, monochrome is still very, very good - highly visible.

They have been selling cheap phones for a long time.

Have you looked at the J series? Those are the most basic phones on the market. It's just that this time, SE plans to be more aggressive with selling them.

Actually it took them that long to realize that is the only thing they CAN produce....! After all those overpriced P series phones that are low end when it comes to actually perform!!! At least now they are selling the low performance at the correct pricing.
