no camera eventually became an issue, the low ring volume is a real pain in the arse it has caused me to miss a lot of incoming calls.the stylus has also been an issue to, i have just had to order my second pack of spares, lost one broke the rest!! i love the uiq3 software, tomtom works a treat. my biggest issue with this phone though is the no dedicated call / end buttons, i dont know about any one else but the amount of times i have finished a call and gone to press end and the bluetooth menu has popped up !!

Wifi, transflective screen (reading in direct sunlight is pain in the ass) & frontcam for video call (no need for back camera though)

I don't think missing features are a dissapointment since (we hope) you knew they were not present before you bought
I understood this thread to be dissapointments once you actually used the device...

I loved my W950i the form factor was great, the player was great, but I simply never used it once I had an additional 24/7 business line foisted upon me!

For me, the biggest disappointment of W950 is its keypad.
I dont really care with the absence of camera since I have another camera phone and a real digital camera.
As SE back to conventional keypad in W960, I think W960 is a really great upgrade from W950, plus WiFi and camera and doubled the memory, make it almost perfect for me.

Everything. W950i is the worst phone I've ever had.
UIQ3 is very buggy and slow with poor usability. Funny thing is that on UIQ webpage they say this user interface is designed for usability. Hah, I don't know should I cry or laugh.
Keypad and click wheel are difficult to use and stylus is always a bad thing. You just can't write SMS while walking and you can't access everything with click wheel. You always have to use the stylus in some point.
Battery life is too short and there really should be a camera in an expensive phone like this.
I already sold mine away and I am never going to buy any UIQ-related crap.
I'm currently using K800i and it feels like being in heaven.

The W950i was a better phone than the rest of th UIQ models from sony, I had mine for 8 months apart from occansional crash everything is pretty much great.
The keyboard takes time to get used too,I guess not everyone got used to it.
Overall a great phone am looking forward for W960 later this year
