I found a site called http://www.Sandiskshop.co.uk that seemed like it had good deals on the M2 4GB card (price seemed to vary with demand and I got it at a low point) - but don't bother using them as it's just a con, they don't actually have any of them. The site always says they are in stock when you order it, but when you chase it up they come back saying it'll be another week, or two weeks and now their lastest est is full month after I ordered it (site still saying In Stock!). I originally ordered from them as I thought I'd get it the next day - I've already waited two weeks, their latest estimate is another two weeks so they've been kicked in to touch. Now ordered from play.com.

Unfortunately, there seems to exist a correlation between in-stock and price: The lower the price, the more likely it is that it is out of stock.

Yea, I think you're right. Also think it's cos I got it at a low price (which seemed to vary day by day and is quite high now) - recon when they do get stock in, they fulfill the orders at the higher price first and not the older orders. Either way they've lost my business but more importantly the order I placed with play.com is already packed and so should be here either Fri or Sat.

Yes i think that sandisk shop is not affiliated with sandisk at all. There prices are only a reflection of how little stock they are able to purchase.

Play.com's prices are cheap because they buy in the thousands, keeping the price down.

I say stick with Play.com reliable and cheap.

My first PC had a hard drive containing 128 MB unformatted. Primary memory was 4MB. Nevertheless, that was far more computer power than in the flight computer in the APOLLO lunar landers. Times changes...
