Go to the PRODIGITS forum and ask ANJAN or any other 'old' member. One thing is - the application you want to incorporate in the startup routine must be 'signed' with a 'official' certificate. The process is free and only need to be done once. It is NOKIA's answer to Stop viruses. Needless to say - superb idea - it works 101%

n95 has 64mb ram but only about 18-22mb (depending on installed apps) available after bootup

There are some apps you can install that monitor the memory, but they too take memory to run.
The circle of life. Anyway, I have opened a quite many apps, about 7 or 8 and the phone was stable until about the 9th app and then crashed. Also to remember, the more apps running, the more the battery will drain.

the idea itself, the blog, isnt that bad, but imo useless, at least i never was able to find out the real usage of that. wish it would be possible to del the whol app individually, but its not possible afaik from any device

Whilst i don't use it myself as really it would just be duplicating what i already sync with my computer and don't use SMS ever. I do think for some it is a great tool and useful. I would also be happy to delete from my device but instead have just moved it to somewhere i don't stumble across it very often so really doesn't cause me any problems.
