Totally agree scottt. I am very old skool (and very old). My favorite bands are Aerosmith and Pink Floyd, which to me seem timeless. Brain damage by Floyd, seems more 21st century, than early 1970's

You hit the Nail on the head there - definitely.
I hate listening to commercial radio as you're forced tp listen to music you don't even like, and most of it is pure sh!te from no-talent, money grabbing wannabes. I can't remember the last time I heard a good band on the radio.
Switch off and go find your own music to listen too - thats what I do.
Who the hell is Amy Winehouse? Whats all that about ffs?

Some overated woman, who dresses like its haloween every day, and sings like shes drunk and about to die. Well thats what I feal like, when I have listened to her in the past!

I have to say I quite like bands like Razorlight though, even if it's a bit 'pappy'!
Though I do have a weakness for some of the good old fashioned '80s and 90s rock/metal, great stuff!

I'm a great hiphop fan,but I do agree with you on some points.Back in the day hip hop was hiphop to the full extent of the word.Today there's no hip hop.It's DEAD!50Cent is no rapper.All he does is Recyled Garbage.Today's musicians are not about for the love of the game,they are about selling so-called records(garbage) and make money.Take this line from 50cent for example "I'm rich and l still wake up with crime on my mind".What the hell is that sh*%#t?
No wonder a lot of people pirate music these days,not that it's a good thing,but who wants to pop out their hard earned cash for such GARBAGE?
