A phone having the cyber-shot or walkman brand name on it adds class to it. Just having those characters engraved on the phone makes it special.
Just Imagine the following situation:
You meet your friend and you show him your new phone: "Hey, look what I got, a Sony Ericsson K810i Cyber-shot phone!"
"Like those cameras from Sony? Awesome, man. It surely takes some great pictures. Hey - 3.2MP. Cool! OMG, look at how shiny it is!" You end the conversation with an evil-ish smile and with a higher sense of self-esteem.

And yet there were some differences. Besides, nothing can beat a xenon flash in the dark.

because it's true. i've seen a comparison between a k750 and a k550 and the k750 beat it.

I'm a but confused concerning the new K850. I mean was definitely going to get it but according to the review on mobile-review a successor is already in the making. With
going Nokia marketing-wise I don't know if I should wait or not. Up till last year I knew that when
released a flagship model nothing in it's own line up would surpass it in the year after. Now I'm not so sure anymore (and inbuilt GPS would be sweet).
