Not strictly a shortcut, I know, but how do you check the firmware version without SM?

SM? Don't think there's a shortcut for it, you have to use the Status menu.

Pressing the backspace key on the keyboard works as a delete button for most apps except the file manager...

Is there a way to assign the internet shortcut button on the right of the phone to a third party app like swiss man?
I have only been able to choose between the phone's task manager, internet browser, media player, message app, ...
A custom shortcut would be nice.

Another thing: when you write an MMS, you can access a little drawing application to scribble away. Can you access this app from the phone menu? Can you save your master pieces?

So does '0' zero work as play/pause, * as previous and # has next track in the music player or not?

Hello,

I can confirm that the 0 (aka spacebar) works as Play and pause, but the # and * don't seem to work as next/prev track. Does anyone know if we can program keys as next/prev, or if there are any preset keys with these functions?

The service menu's are the same, just use scroll up instead of right, and scroll down instead of left.

@remirez:

The Notes app can do handwritten notes as well. Is that what you're looking for?

Hi. Just got my p1i this weekend. Does anyone else have this happen? When I press the shortcut key for keylock, I get the dialogue box for making a call up with the letter 'p' and no key lock. Weird and frustrating.

sounds like you are pressing and holding the star '*' key.

key lock on P1 is achieved by pressing and holding the back/return button on the left hand side
