doggmann and co. mentioned some very good points, about what separates the e90 from the e61i. in the end, it's your choice about whether these 'extra features' justify the price increase? myself, i see no point in getting a phone as such, i would much rather have an e61i. or buy a laptop. =).

thanks for the info guys.
- i dont need a 3.2 camera.
- i think the keyboard for e61i is sufficient
- i am also satisfied with the screen size
- i dont need the extra boost in multimedia (according to doggmann)
- extra RAM is tempting
I dont think that the features of the e90 are justifiable for a big price gap between the two models. Plus, it is just like a brick. I dont think I'd be comfortable with it in my pocket. It looks like a jewerly case.

a pro for the e61i is yet the better keypad and the joypad. however the e61 joy isnt that bad, its a bit wacky for my taste

Or if your car starts to roll backwards. Just put the phone under the tire.

Hi all,
Actually i really must point out obviously that was my attempt at a little humour about the hitting someone with it.
It really is not that large or heavy, and must admit now that the case and screen protector have arrived i am getting very tempted to take it back out the box and start using it again. Maybe i just should buy one of those tiny Sony stick players for whilst walking Otis and just set the phone on vibrate to not miss calls.
I really can't make my mind up just when i thought i knew what i was doing it all goes pear shaped again aaargh, i really need help and where's Nokia anonymous when you need them.
Marc

Hey Marc, You used to be indecisive, but now your not so sure

, Keep the E90 and get a proper MP3 player IMO, you could always join the dark side and get a W960i:P

@mweb6161
You are actually closer to the truth then you know after 22 years odd of Mobile device addiction i am going cold turkey. I have just sold my N95 and E90 and will be buying either an iPod Nano or Sony AW-805 for my Music and just keeping my favourite E61 and don't intend buying another device until the E61 needs replacing with it's real successor.

Hey Marc,
Did you check out that
www.gear4.com device I posted? It truly is not a bad piece of equipment and it works as intended. It is a great device to have with an iPod and phone. I used with my N95 (sold), my E90 (not selling), and the always there, never failing, a joy to have E61 (with Arabic keys. Very cool). Take a peek.
Cheers mate.
Don
