great, just when i had decided im going with the w580, i read that it too, has cracked keypad problems. *sigh* can anyone else confirm this =(

In a few months there'll be the W910i which is like a W580 but with 3G and larger screen...
I wouldn't worry about the keypad problems. Now that
have acknowledged the problem, any issues will be easily sorted out. Just make sure you buy from an official supplier.

it doesnt have a shutter button on the lower right side of the phone which helps taking pictures horizontally, and the camera GUI is like the one in K700 (cmiiw)

The keypad problem is indeed one reason I'm hesitant about getting the W580. It seems like a pretty good phone otherwise. I've seen the picture quality of photos taken with the S500 and I think they look really good for a non-AF cameraphone. Does anyone know if the picture quality and camera on the W580 is the same as the on the S500? Thanks!
