If it's CID49, just update the firmware with SEUS first, free CID upgrade, then do what you need to(unlock/de-brand)....
....of course, as it's T-Mobile, they'll give you the code for
£15...
....except, of course, you have to have the phone for 3 months, before they'll give you the code....
