I connect to internet sometimes with the P1 and cable. The setting is the one in the phone - at some point when setting up the connection, the phone will ask you if you want to copy the settings from the phone and you gotta check that. That's all. Straight and simple.

I believe you were saying to connect from PC -> USB cable -> P1i -> Internet. However, I am wondering if there is anything can be set to do the other way round, i.e. P1i-> USB cable -> PC -> Internet. Hence P1i can using the PC's internet connection to surf the internet.
