> problem connecting samsung to pc

i aint downloaded any software except the cable driver.... so when i connect the phone, a new drive pops up but tels insert disk into drive when i click it

it's probably just windows being crap as usual. have you tried rebooting then trying again.

it sounds as if it's expecting drivers or something. maybe something got corrupted when you used the software alternative to PC Studio. are the usb drivers installed ok? go to device manager and check. maybe you need to reinstall them.
on your phone, select mass storage
