Trully speaking I think that the xenon flash would be much better.

the xenon burns too bright. You can't run a xenon for more than a second, it will burnt out, then you will have no xenon flash at all.

@max - Given a choice, what will you be choosing between a LIGHT - that is too BRIGHT or a LIGHT is toooooo dark (LED)

I don't care how bright it is, but when I say it "burns out" I mean that if you run the xenon flash for more than a second it will die aka never to be used again, even as a flash.
So IMHO, I'd rather keep my xenon in working condition, so that atleast it can be used for flash, and use the led for lighting my path. Anyway if the xenon flash could be used as a torch you'd run the batt dead in no time.
If the K750 LED is anything to go by, it's why and enough powerful to use as a torch.

I'm sorry, can a flash be used as a torch-light, even for a second? Flashes are capacitors that charge up and let go in a fraction of a second, are flashes used on phones any different?
LED's are useful in more ways than a flash, so i would pick a LED-only model but not a Xenon-only one.

they are exactly the same. To keep one burning for more than a fraction of a second would use masses of battery power. Possibly the battery wouldn't be able to deliver power fast enough. Also xenon lamps actually burn out if left on for more than a second or two
