I've had two, the first P1i was faulty (wifi didn't work) and I left the original SONY screen protector on that. On the replacement I fitted the Martin Fields protector and although it fits and looks superb, I do find the scroll tabs VERY hit and miss now. This is a particular pain when using the web browser. So I am used to these tabs being a lot easier to work with, I'm not just being pedantic.

Original Sony protector?????

I believe he means the protector that comes with the phone, which you get with pretty much the majority of phones.

Edit: @sunking101, you already beat me to replying

Damn, can't seem to get the camera protector off! Either it's really tight and sticky or I really don't have put it on. Just want to check if I notice any difference in the cam with or without the thing.

It appears as if something is on the lens, if you people (without the camera protector) feel around the lens with a nail. Do you also feel something (like you can peel it off?). Before I ruin the phone

Trust me, you would know if the lens protector was on. It is clear, thick and cut badly around the edges. If your lens looks smoked, smooth and lovely then I'd say you don't have a protector on. Besides, my Martin Fields lens protector dropped off, I didn't have to pull it. :- )

Best thing to do is put a piece of sticky tape, cellotape onto the lens and then pull it off again. The lens protector would come away with it.

No, I bought it direct from Martin Fields. If you haven't tried using the touchscreen at the edges WITHOUT the protector on, you won't know what I'm talking about. Trust me, it is harder to use the screen. Fine everywhere except the scroll tabs. When browsing I notice this problem a lot. I haven't removed my protector because the screen needs it, I'm just seeing if anyone else notices this - particularly whilst browsing.

My MFSP are great and have always been since P900 model by model. It is a little bit harder to press things on the right edge including the scroll bar of the browser, but not THAT bad. And it doesnt hurt me that much as I am using operamini and am scrolling with the * and # keys.

I'm having REALLY bad problems using the scroll tabs whilst browsing with Opera.

With Opera or Opera Mini ?

The scrollbar of Opera Mini is thinner and u may have difficulties using. it, if the right edge of your sp isn't aligned with the right edge of your screen. Even a space of 0,5 mm may cause this problem, since u won't be able to tap the scrollbar properly then.

Check and align it, if necessary.
