Hi al,
Well i wouldn't say these cards are catching up with new hard drives the old ones definitely. But many Laptops now come with 100gb plus hard drives and even my first new Ipod comes with 80gb. But obviously this is is a huge jump from 4gb and even 8gb cards and really is a lot of storage seeing as file sizes on are Mobile devices do tend to be much smaller.
