i got to admit the w900 is a nice walkman phone..
what w880 has is a2dp,trackID (dont know if w900 does) and its a slim phone..thats what s/e were aiming for and they accomplished that

motorolas are running some shitty java/linux based system on their phones..beats me i hope they fix them up too.. the v8 is nice and slim bit hate the os

Yeah but it's model name and price are not representative of its features. The W880i should be called the W250 or something like that, and this phone makes as much sense as buying a Mac- you're paying too much for style.

Umm yeah the design brief of the W880i was to create a small, slim full featured UMTS device, a target that was 100% achieved.
I see it for £150 on PAYG which is pretty fair value IMO.

Perhaps you might prefer an analogue device my friend , You have a 3G K800i ?, so perhaps you might ask yourself your own question.
Your obviously not of an age to remember the gargantuan UMTS devices of 5 years ago, to build such technology into something so small is a real achievement IMO.
W580i is to put it kindly, crap compared to W880i AND it has iffy build quality.

i agree....i have the w880i and am madly in love with it...though i think it is massively overpriced anyway. i got mine second hand, in mint condition, for almost half the price so i love it even more...for cam, my k810i is ok

Don't forget people, W880's also half metal, which affects it's price....
