skylineR35 it's no problem for backup if the layout xml files are the same in the older firmwares for K800. I have older one extracted so I think it won't be any problem.

Yes, K800 is different, but I sold mine last year! If you have access to W880, that shares the exact setup of T650.....no worries either way though!

How do I get to tpa/system/layout? Do I need a different PC/phone lead other than the supplied one? My PC won't access the phone without PC Suite.

you dont need to change anything in the layout file.
its even easier, just name the fonts which you want to use with the right name and copy it via FAR Manager to:
TPA | PRESET | SYSTEM | FONTS

and thats it...
