If you select Settings, Contacts, Calendar, etc. when doing the Backup, then those are the things that will be backed up!
With 3rd party applications, either on memory stick or on phone, some are being restored, some are not. Could not figure out yet why only some. But that is the way it is.

yup that's very weird, i did backup all applications, files and datas. but after upgrading firmware, only some could make a come back, that's sad.....and i failed to restore all my emails and sms'
