I used to have the same problem with my K750i, although battery life was excellent. But I got a new battery a few days back and that seems to be able to show 100%, though I've always thought it's a firmware problem.

From my experience using the P990i (which is essentially P1 with flip and more RAM), if you charge it overnight, you'll always get 98%. If it just got fully charged (100%) and if it stays charged for more than about 1/2 hour, the indicator will go down to 99% but it'll go back up to 100% once you unplug the charger. There's no way to get it back up to 100% from 98%(overnight charge) that I know of, my guess is it's probably a safety feature to prevent the battery from overheating/overcharging

Big problems you have guys

I'm much more Worry about that my P1i seems to have problems with 3G. I never have 98% signal on that in the city, more like 25% and in the best cases 75.

What i mean is that this is nothing to worry about, 2% on a battery meter, they have never been reliable and 2% is nothing!!!

Hey guys, i have the P1 for almost 3 weeks, I have noticed that the battery even on full charging shows 98% & never 100%. Though my battery lasts for 3 days on normal usage & 2 days on heavy usage.

Is it the same with u all P1 users? Please help.

And yes, it's the same for me but thats not a problem for me
