@ golden from bristol area etc but go to uni in cheltenham.

For the past 3 months been living out of my suitcases and car with most my stuff in storage.

I am going to tescos in 20 min then to argos. I hope between the two I will be sorted, but if not I will try matalan as there is no asda really close.

Sorry to hear it mate but glad you're sorted now. I think you have to become a member of Matalan, you may be able to join there and then but they have a dedicated student section.

Hi all,

Sorry to burst any ones bubble but Tog really is not the way to buy a duvet as only relates to the weight has nothing to do with the qaulity at all as some duvets the feathers are only washed the minimum number of times required which means the duvet is heavier due to the feathers not being as clean as they could be.

Personally i buy all my bedding from QVC thier Northern Nights range which are all 100% cotton and their duvets are incredibly thin and light yet keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter, they are also hypo allergenic and cleaned many more times than the minimum requirements. But then i do spend 20hrs odd a day in bed so my comfort is of paramount importance. Also have a feather bed that sits on top of my Futon mattress and gives the most comfortable bed i have ever slept in and that includes some of the worlds top hotels. As for when it gets very cold in the winter i do have my own personal warmer 40KG of Dobermann. LOL

Marc

Jeez we have some bargain hunters here don't we?

@Dogmann

Northern Nights? Sounds like a Barbara Cartland novel.

Nothing better than a big sloppy kiss off a Dobermann to wake you up in the morning.

@Luke

Ikea also do those Kitchen starter kits, with all your cutlery and all that, which I think is a good deal.
