I like this...
I've modded my theme with a W960 based theme and added the shortcut to iPhoneUnlock - shown here as the orange padlock icon...
and here is my customised iPhoneUnlock screen...
It's not too hard if you follow the instructions right!

- which I managed to mess up to start with
Enjoy...

It's Java app I heard it consumes battery. I stop using it altogether after I use Gdesk.

does this mean it doesn't drain the battery as badly as before? that's my concern about using this otherwise cool app.

On my P1 the photo button on the right side of the phone isn't locked by the app.. Is it a bug?

That's exactly what it means.

Just for info, I've been using the app for 24 hours now I haven't noticed any hit on the battery.

I left mine locked with this app overnight, and by morning I had a crash error dialogue (Kernel exceptipn 3) - hope this was a one off, as otherwise it's very usable.
Oh yes, and I find the web button is also active whilst locked, if it's pressed there is nothing registered on the screen, but as soon as I unlock it - there's the web homepage! I don't think this is a problem though, as it's not possible to blindly follow any links due to the fact that the main keypad/jogdial do not take any input..
No extra battery drain for me either btw.
Also, interesting to note about the camera bug - the auto focus is deactivated, but I can still take pictures, so it looks like the first stage of the camera button is locked, but not the seccond. The only way out of the camera app that I could find was to press the power button (which thankfully is also not blocked), and then press the onscreen back button. The camera does stay active behind the lock screen though.
Personally, I'd fix all the unwanted inputs apart from the power button, as it's pretty hard to press accidentaly, and useful if there's a problem.

An increase in battery drain could occur I would imagine when the phone is in a pocket for example...
The standard keylock system will only show the keylock/screenlock info when keys are pressed not when the screen is touched, and also the screen displays at low light level.
BUT whenever keys are pressed or *the screen is touched* with the iPhoneUnlock the screen is displayed at full brightness as far as I can see...
So I could see that there might be more inadvertant screen activation with the system... How much power that would drain I don't know!
As regards the camera app - I found that I could take pics too and agree that the auto focus square does not appear... but I found that using the 'back button' on the LHS returned me to the iPhoneUnlock screen - so quite handy for a quick 'photo opportunity' LOL
