UIQ is very powerful, it just needs time to develop and mature. I'm not too keen on windows.

@QVGA
Being around for a while doesn't necessarily mean something that it is ready.
With SE's messing up the OS thus crippling it at this stage it will need more time.
I think by next year it would've matured.

and lots..

I'd be happy to see SE make hardscreen UIQ phones. Basically retain the excellent UI of SE Java phones and have Symbian running in there for the sake of applications that can integrate with the shell better than J2ME. A K810 with a smartphone OS inside... It's my dream

Im agree with you. I dont like SE themes with Windows style, in every phones.
SE with WM? No. thanks. It'd better if SE improve its UIQ.

I use windows everyday for everything, from work to my personal stuff, so UIQ is my sanctity

I totaly agree with that! @ Chili, i remember wishing that the W900 would run a non-touchscreen Symbian UIQ, it would have been SO PERFECT and it would have justified that phones price, i would hate for SE to use WM, its bad enough that Samsung and Motorola are using it, like Masseur said LEAVE IT to the pros: HTC

Besides my personal preference for Symbian, I just can't imagine WM in either P990 or P1. Going from menu to menu would require a cup of coffee between each...
WM is just too processing power hungry to be of practical use in mobile devices.
