1 charger that would fit in every phone would be good but hangon why?
can't you just charge your phone anyway lol
and for the memory cards well same thing ain't it

You really would of thought the had better things to do than this, just choose Micro SDHC cards problem solved small cards huge capacity. There really is no need for yet another flaming stupid format. I really can't see cards getting any smaller than Micro SDHC and the capacities are getting more than large enough. If they really all want to make it easy just choose Micro SDHC and let Sandisk get on with increasing capacities.

Sorry but how can a standard battery possibly be viable just look at all the different designs and sizes of our devices and explain to me how you are going to develop a one battery fits all. Nice idea but totally impractical, now all manufacturers using the same chargers would be a much easier solution but again as different devices have different size batteries they don't all have the same charging requirements either. The only thing that does make sense is if they all decide to use the same type of memory card but not yet another new format please.
As i said currently Micro SDHC if not the smallest is one of the smallest and also has the biggest capacity cards coming soon if they all went with this format i think it would suit most users best. Especially as their are adapters that allow you to use these in other memory card slots.
