Dont' forget the phone screen has a substantially smaller number of pixels than the captured image, so you'll only be seeing less than 1 in 4 of the pixels as you frame the shot.

Try shrinking one of your photos to 320x240 in a graphics package, with any smoothing/averaging options turned OFF and you'll see the dust specks mostly nearly disappear from view.
