Hello,
I also seem to have a problem with using WLAN. I have done all advised in previous messages. The difference with my problem is that I cannot even connect to my network device. The only way I can do so is if I set my wireless device security mode to none.
I normally have it set to Auto (WPA or WPA2) and AES Cypher.
I have tried WPA only still no go. I also set it to 802.11b only.
I also entered IP Address manually and DNS address manually.. also not working.
None of these seem to work.
If anyone have some more info.. please share

Try to modify your WLAN settings and set "Energy saving" to OFF (sorry, I have Italian language on the phone, maybe it's Power saving or something like that).
Then try to upgrade your router's firmware.

I can only connect mine with no security or with WEP - I cannot get it to run with WPA1 or 2...
So I now use WEP and enable set MAC addresses in my router...

Hey guys I'm having problems with P1 wifi again. This time it isn't about connecting to the server its about "Server Not Found" issue. I managed to connect to the server but the web browser doesn't work. All settings set to normal. (Automatic, never touched)
The server is running Infrastructure mode. What is the difference between an ad-hoc one?

hey guys....
i think i know a solution to your problem.... try this:
go to the control panel > security > MIDlet accounts
then select your program (eg. opera mini) and in the pop-up window change the preffered internet connection for that particular program.
hope that helps!!!
