This statement is based on what? Neither of these phones have been released yet.

The K850i is the most eagerly awaited phone since the K750i and the W910i is one of few models to be picked up by Vodafone for thier pre-Christmas release. Flawed my a**!

Both these phones target different markets. This is done intentionally not accidentally. If you don't like it, maybe a chinese ripoff called Wlakman is for you?

Hmm if they did, I think the world would stop spinning (or doing the Cyclo-vision spin cycle)

@Alexandra
Actually it still would be.

Shape and proportions are stolen from the K200/220.
Keypad is obviously RAZR influenced.

And note how every gadget on earth is flawed. Even the N95 - battery, build quality and size.

There's always got to be a compromise with products, otherwise people wouldn't move onto new ones and companies would be in the red.

But not massively flawed like W910.

Perhaps, but again, different phones for different niches.

If you don't like it, just accept it and move on. If you want a slightly thicker phone with a large screen and a 5MP AF, there's always the N95.

And IrDA is outdated - it's too much space wasted, and it does require quite a large area.
