I had been using matin field for almost 3 years with no problem at all. But it greatly reduce the response of the touch screen.
So i use it naked with my p1i. More force needed to be applied than it surposed to and it will bend your flat touch screen.

How bad does it reduce the sesitivity of the touch screen. I sometimes use my fingers aswell for somethings, will I still be able to do that?
Also you say it will "bend" the flat touch screen? Bend it how? Its flat! Do you mean bend the stylus.

Well, theoretically if you put too much pressure on the screen it could come away from the corners or bend/bow a little. I use a Martin Fields screen protector and can confirm that the screen does need a little more pressure than without a protector attached but I can still use my finger etc. Only time will tell if this is bad for the screen. I am still able to press reasonably softly.

btw, I have a martinfields, and wasn't really that happy with it. But, finally I couldn't stand looking at the small hairs stuck under the screen- protector anymore. And lifted it up, and picked off the dust particles with some rounds of scotch tape. And, suprise, suddenly I didn't have to push hard on the screen at all, and I could turn down the light to normal again... lol. Probably goes for all protectors, though.
Did anyone try more than one type? How thick are the other options? Do you have to turn up the light, etc?

using the MF on mine, find it excellent, use my thumb all the time. Think it needs a bit more of a press but cant remember what it was like without?!

Martin Field Overlay Protectors have always been best, including for my new P1i.
