slider is great. only thing about build issues ive read/experienced, is hairline crack between bottom dpad button and play/enter button. dpad still works though.

Don't forget the hiss issue (apparently not experienced by all). It is unlikely to be noticeable when buying the phone in a noisy shop but it tends to become annoying if you like to listen to classical or ambient music with a lot of quiet passages where hissing can be heard in full swing. I wonder whether replacing the acoustics with the W880 version or reinstalling the original pack taken from another phone would eliminate the issue....

W850 is exccellent for music in my opinion. It lacks autofocus on camera, but if you don't use the phone for taking pictures too musch, you can live with that

IMO
W850 is Classy Walkman phone but the only disadvantage in this Phone is the light sensor which make the screen too dim if we compare it to w880 one
