If you have a sensible TV at home, it could easily replace a mid-range notebook, from the specs I've seen! And of course, that it can manipulate a sim card, opens a wealth of possibilties!
Hmmm, a partition with Linux...hmmm......
EDIT:
2 Days standby???

That's impressive......

It's a real disappointment that no more devices with inbuilt GPS were announced. The S730 had potential to be a really great phone with built in GPS but as it stands I think it is just an S710 with a faster processor. Nice upgrade, but certainly not a revolution. The new Touch looks interesting, but it still seems that the TYTN II is the outstanding device in the HTC line up. I had another play with one on Friday and I really think I need to stump up the cash. I'm just waiting for prices to settle a little as I think they are still artificially high because demand is so high.

Was really looking forward to the Dual slide....Looks the perfect phone and a replacement for my kaiser for sure.
but after hearing no GPS...I'm gutted.
Even though its got the same chipset in there as within the kaiser....Hmmm i wonder if it could be activated at a later date as was the case with the trinity.

the only one in this set that appeals to me is the shift and the more I read on the net about this final version the more interesting it sounds
but... the Samsung Q1 ultra is still apealing to me in this category and I'm going to have give it it some more thought before jumping in
