redbrowser will send non-stop sms messages to the number 1717. This will incur sms charges against your mobile phone account. Could be VERY damaging financially, but the worst it will do to your phone is run the battery dead. It will only send sms's while the redbrowser app is running, so it's not very good at hiding. This virus is only effective if the user can be tricked into installing and allowing the app to run. If they restart their phone they will have to physically go into the apps folder and start the redbrowser application in order for it to run.
cabir, will just keep trying to send itself via bluetooth, which will run the battery dead very quickly. There are probably people out there who think their battery is crap but don't realise they have cabir!

Cabir will start up again even if you restart the phone, so you need to uninstall the cabir sis app to stop a cabir infected phone from trying to spread.
You don't need AV apps to get rid of either of these viruses - you can completely remove them by using the standard uninstall tools provided by the handset.
