I also bought the same strap when I got my P1i 2 weeks ago. Although, the strap looks and works great the placement of the strap is just plain horrible. If I was a left handed person it could work for me but I was having a very uncomfortable time using it.
Does anyone feel the same way about the placement of the wrist strap location or am I just using it incorrectly?

The plastic part of the strap has tendency to scratch the phone. Not advisable if used with the pouch provided.
