i would certainly wait until SE present their last announcement for the year. The P3 might save them this time...

I upgraded to a P1i myself nearly 2 months ago and find the phone a joy to use. I previously had a K810i and also a K800i and do not regret changing over. My girlfriend has now got my K810 and the K800 went to another Esato member. I'm really liking my P1i. The only difference is the lack of a xenon flash but it doesn't bother me at all as the P1's other functions certainly compansate.

if your a paitient person i would wait till the 15th for the announcement, the p1 is not going anywhere except down in price, although if you have some change burning a hole inyour pocket just get the p1. as far as the k810 goes why not the k850 if your really concerned with taking pics. it also has jp8. so theres my 2¢

if u could wait, then should you, my case was the same, going over from k810 to p1 and it was a great move to make, but nothing extraordinary to die for in p1. and bear in mind, if your life depends on the k810 camera, u can surely forget about p1

P1i price wont drop when w960i gets released it will drop sharp when P3i will get launched.
Go for P1i makes no sense waiting for a cell phone from SONY ERICSSON... they are very bad at releasing their products on time.
And P1 is a very good cell phone as of now, i am only miss the internal GPS !!

Ok OK, its just that here in Moscow I can only get one with Russian letters on the keypad, so have to wait until I'm somewhere that sells them with english.
Maybe this weekend, as I am going to Paris.
And one more thing, does the P1 have the same camera software that the K810 has, like the Panorama mode and Scenes?
Plus whats it like for playing the odd game on it, with there been no joystick?

Different expirence with different phones ... remember that.. !! each phone has its own charm and uniqueness and so P1i also has it..!!
that you will realise when you will use it..!! its a one good phone that can be trusted !!
