That guy's a poor excuse for a man. He should have did some thinking before he went and got married and became a father. At 29 you'd think he'd be able to show a little maturity. If he's not ready to be a dad, why only realise that after he's already become one? It's really irresponsible as it's not just about him anymore! (Sorry, I can't help feeling a little agitated here.) His mum isn't any much better either. Instead of making her son do the right thing, she drove your sister and her baby home and protects her son?

Having said that, I think it may be a good thing for your sis to get away from that family as it is quite apparent that she's not gonna get much help from them even if she were to continue staying there. I'm sorry your sister had to go through this and I wish her and her child all the best in the days ahead.

Yes his Mother drove her home came into my mothrs house said "Oh a nice big kitchen/garden" then went again w/o answering any questions to my mother or her bf... my mother is furious so is her bf..

I think my sister is better off getting settled here,
what if he decides to get a divorce months down the line he mises his kid and wants custody of her? his mother will jump to that I guess she was always interering

What a jerk! I hope your sister will be strong and sort things out. No way should that guy get custody of the child. It'll be good to get evidence that the guy has not been doing his part as the father of the child, and also that your sister is capable of bringing up the child herself in a conducive environment.

It could have been a wonderful love story. In any case, love is blind, as they say. I wouldn't be surprised if she goes running back to him as you have said, miss uk. There's nothing much you can do to stop her, I guess. Just try to talk some sense into her if you can.
