As I said, afaik no phone does that without hacks.
Mono and stereo are different protocols. Mono is bi-directional and stereo isn't.

AD2P is for stereo. Search in the specifications.
Does your headset has 2 speakers? => Yes, then is probably stereo.
Does your headset has a microphone? => If yes, then probably is mono (or supports both).

i was able to use a 6230i and an HBH-20 for listening to mp3's. sound quality of course sucked, but i was quite surprised that it was possible to do that.

Ebay has several good pairs it depends on the style you want, they have wraparounds, in ear, you choose. if you like in flexibility then try the hbh ds200 or 220, as it offers the option of both. Just remember you get what you pay for

I personally recommend the Motorola S9,great sound and very DISCRETE.

stay focus on the topic mates dont yaap about great headphones is it possible to listen mp3 on hbh-pv 700 or not if yes how? with or without hacks? if no then just say no dont just blab about other headphones.
