(1) ive got the media player equilizer reverting back to a preset from manual mode everytime i stop and play music again.
(2) cant delete the web feeds...they are costing me a fortune everytime i connect to internet
(3) cant view photos according to date or month they were taken in
(4) cant get the visualisation in media player to work, only album art

Yeah this happens whenever I try to change an app too. But it seems to work if I'll try it once more, whatever applications/games im trying to start...

I saw that in Photo Mate appears the:"Date & Time stamp",so maybe SE will add it in future firmware update...Let's hope!!

I agree that this firmware does indeed have lots of bugs. And I mean LOTS of bugs. This has to be one of the least finished firmwares to ever be shipped by SE. In saying that though, I only have a few big problems:
1. The firmware associated with the camera is poor. The shutter sometimes closes which the picture is still being taken and so I end up with a black image.
2. The flash often discharges too early, resulting in a darkened photo.
3. The volume buttons aren't always responsive. [O2 firmware specific]
4. Thumbnails created stay in the phone even after the content has been deleted
5. It is impossible to disable GPRS.
6. The auto-rotate feature consumes too much processing power
7. Where the hell did the SMS viewing options go? I can't disable the preview of a message...
8. Smart search doesn't work efficiently because I have a lot of numbers. Surely the idea of smart search is to aid those with lots of numbers?
9. I want the option to change what the left touch button does. I don't want a link to media.
10. I'm not sure how this has happened, but my photos have become corrupt twice now. I think it happens when I leave the camera while a photo is still being saved. It's hard to replicate though, so I'll have to wait for it to happen a third time to see exactly what causes it...
I'm aware these aren't all specifically firmware bugs, but some are features that have needlessly been omitted...
I love this phone, I love the new OS, but it just needs to be sorted ASAP. It clearly wasn't properly tested before shipping, and now we early adopters have to cope with these minor annoyances..

It's both unfortunately...I've played with both an unbranded and branded (o2) firmwares and they both have issues. Obviously there are some problems that are carrier specific, but the vast majority of these problems apply to both.

Only received mine today, but it's already on it's way back!
I didn't like the buttons or the light shining round the two keys whilst trying to ignore it and text.
The pictures taken inside were ok but not what I expected compared to a K800i I've used and even without touching the back of the phone whilst taking a picture they turned out a bit dark. If you do touch the back then the pictures are very dark...it wouldn't have liked living in the bodyglove I have on order for it.
When I tried to use the edit picture it froze and I ended up having to turn it off.
Couldn't transfer the pictures taken at 5mp by bluetooth to my pc only smaller ones, maybe that's usual I don't know.
Flimsy cheap feeling cover to the battery, sim card and memory stick.
Overall it looks good, but like me it's too sensitive, fussy and delicate to live with!

the above mentioned bug reall sucks guyz ,i am just not able to use the phone bcoz i have so many contact but what i find suprising is that i have a k810i and i have the same number of contact (957) and the smart search works like a charm on the k810i .SE urgently needs to come up with a new firmware orelse i have to get rid of the k850i.the second issue is the camera when i take pictures in the night they all come pitch black and thats pathetic coz my n95 use to take very good pictures in the night but got rid of the n95 bcoz of the sliding mechanicsm.

k850 dosent have bugs (maybe some , like allways)...me and many other people dosent have your software problems...so its not some big issue.
you have got a monday ex...thats what i think.
my own firmware run realy good/stable......(no bugs there)
