If i did understand plankgatan right, he just told us that phones with real mineral glass are very rare and that a IPOD sock is perfect with the k850i and is a good protection against scratches, and not that his phone is perfect

Well, scratch proof and scratch resistent are two different things. The former mean its not possible to scratch and the latter means its possible, but hard scratch (compared to "normal" screens).

OK. There is scratch proof and scratch resistant.
I never said it was scratch proof, but I did say resistant.
I have carried the phone in my right suit trouser pocket. That's all that ever goes in there is the phone and maybe some random lint. So air and lint is all it's come across, so I am stumped as to how it's happened.
Like I say, it's only VERY light. It took me a good 3 minutes to find it to take a picture of it.
The flash from the camera makes it look WAY worse than it is.

Also, it's amazing how macro mode on my camera (panasonic FX-01) picks up so much dust on the phone!
I gave it a polish with one of those anti-static cloths before I took those pics! mad!

Hi all,
The thing is for plankgatan this phone was the best phone ever and perfect from when it was announced a little thing like facts are never going to get in the way of an opinion formed before he even had it.
Every where he goes all he can say is just how great his phone is bugs and problems are just Monody phones and to be expected.
As for this scratch resistant Glass which was something that SE made out as a feature when announced now seems to of disappeared from he web site is indeed very strange but to be honest nothing SE does any longer surprises me in this respect. They seem only to happy to announce things when announcing a device that somehow mysteriously disappear by the time of launch. VOIP on the P1 anyone?

@Dogmann
VOIP enabled and VOIP client (in the case of P1) are two different things.

@Arne Anka
Whichever one it was a big deal of it was made on announcement and then all mention of it disappears and Optimobile was mentioned by name so no i don't accept your argument that it meant VOIP enabled they said a VOIP app.

There is no need to use a screen protector. You just have to be carefull not to put anything else but your phone in your pocket... if you do..use a ipod socket and thats enough. Personally i hate screen protectors... i cant see a thing under direct sunlight and the screen colors be like crap
