Yeah it really does improve the colors alot with flash.
So Plank, did that spokesman say when will the firmware be released? My UI is really laggy at times.

I'm disappointed in how difficult it is to make these adjustments, on my K800i it was possible to use the keypad to change some of the setting (Macro/inifinity/Auto-focus - for instance) but not found out a quick way of doing that yet (must read the manual - lol).
I've posted a few pictures here
http://picasaweb.google.com/Knuttt/K850i but am not very happy with them yet, it seems as though picture qualilty is not as good as K800i pictures yet but I havent had the best of lighting condition.
Some pictures taken with the K800i:

Feel free to comment.
Additionally, why is it so difficult to view the pictures already taken? Again the K800i had two buttons above the screen to jump to the photo album or last shot take and these were really useful.
Anyway, waiting for for the next firmware before I sweat it too much.

This is what is good with the k850i. Manual ISO settings ^^ I also tried flash with ISO settings, and had also found out about this ISO thing. Therefore manual ISO has potential to develop here. I tried with ISO 400... Not recommended.

Does anyone think the K850 flash is stronger than the K800?

i'd say the way flash the flash works when it works properly is alot sharper when implemented so in a sense yes it is stronger

no, it's the same sony flash module used in K800. K850 and K800 have the most powerful xenon flashes of all mobile camfones in the market

The flash here on the k850 is definitely better, as it has light sensor to sense for light so as to output the strength of the flash. Under super low light, in my opinion, it can output even a higher power flash then the k800, whereas the k800 only produces the same strength of flash everytime.

Huh, how come the pictures are so bad with auto settings? From 2m my good old N70 looks better. (not to mention the n95) Another flop from SE. Now everyone is waiting for a firmware upgrade. What a joke . . .
