None of those is a really good camera. Look into Sony T100, T50

I was really happy with my Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX8 'til I lost it. The FX10 can only be an improvement on it. It's got Leica lenses as well so that's a bonus and you can get it for around £115 now.

Or if you want to spend more, a Lumix DMC-TZ3 is a great camera. It's what I'm currently using, has 10x optical zoom, max ISO 3200 and a 3" screen. Have to give it a 10/10 on construction, as with every other Lumix camera I've owned/used!

Fuji's Finepix F series cameras perform well in low light.

Lumix are great cameras. I was considering getting one of these myself, but I thought they were too bulky and I got the Kodak V610 instead!

I'd say you made a mistake not buying one then...

Can't say I'd go and buy from a different brand unless I go for a DSLR or something.

I would take the W35 anyday imo. it has the best battery life and has optical viewfinder even though it's so compact compared to the list you provided. and yeah Carl-Zeiss isn't just name, it's quality. I always take some pictures under strong sunlight and sunlight flares are not an issue when using cameras with Carl-Zeiss lenses especially since W-series has one of the best implementation of carl-zeiss of all the Sony cameras i've used. before Sony decided to use Sony lenses for their S-series and leave Carl-Zeiss in that series. and in fact i've compared a Sony W30 to a Canon IXUS 60 and the images came out pretty the same(sharpness, Colors, contrast and dynamic range). with W50 having higher contrast but Canon held the edge in more natural colors

@salih - If I were you I'll just CHOOSE ONLY between these brands: Nikon, Canon, Olympus . . . and perhaps - KODAK !
