I have no problem being a guinea pig on this flash. If it delivers then the risk will be well worth it!

Don't quite understand why Sony doesn't simply make the Walkman software available for the P1i. I guess I am one of the few users that falls within the business and casual use demographic, who would have opted for the W960 if it had the keyboard and some of the other functions that the P1i has over the Walkman phone.

The media player shipping with the P1i is a joke quite frankly and while it does its job, I am seriously envious and upset that the music player integration on the P1i is so lacking after playing around with the W960.

I guess I'll be one of the first guinea pigs as soon as keyboard support is available with this conversion.

Why? What's the difference with the W960, except the flash visualizations?

The only problem I have is that I can't find how to play all the songs belonging to a file, without doing a playlist, which is boring because you can't select all the file in one click. Will it be possible in the W960?

I hope this works out, one of the main reasons I never bought the p1i was the badly designed music player, especially the controls.

Having walkman 3 should remove the need to use the crap file browser as well and will have support for podcasts.

The only problem is that w960 has 3 special touch keys and volume control for its media player, the P1i doesnt. So still the music controls wont have improved, just visual improvements.

EDIT

Just seen the youtube, 1,2 and 3 keys control the music player fine.
