Yeah, like that. But I want the megapixels to be bumped up to 7.2 or 8 or something (10 is getting way too much.. as in.. pricey, you know what I mean?).

If they wanted they could do it, but it would probably cost more than $2 billion to research. And even if they decide to make a mass product of it, one of these would cost no less than $100 000

They need to be sony-like in innovations. but they need to be ericsson-like in pricing

oh dear. i really hope you don't believe that
. sony are like microsoft and apple in that none of them can innovate themselves out of a paper bag. sony tends to steal other companies ideas and tries to market it as their own.
they need to be more like a company such as panasonic or philips in terms of innovation.
