Hi,
Is there anyway of pointing it at a preexisting directory. For bandwidth reasons I download podcasts onto a laptop then rsync the laptop dir with a dir on the phone. The ability to use a podacast player to see "new" items and play them (rather than the built in player) would be great.
It seems that podcastplayer can only "see" episodes it has downloaded itself.

If podcastplayer could "keep track" of the phone_dir contents and display new items since last fired up or since last change to phone_dir that would be great. Many feeds do not either name or tag the items in a way that makes the chronology easy to spot. That way one could have the option to see only new items or to scroll through all the items of a particular feed (for instance I tend to keep 4 episodes of weekly items) etc etc
