Just wondering... can the battery last long enough to play all the songs in a 512 or a 128 MB card?

Here in Germany you'll get a 128 MB MMC Card for less than 70 EUR.
The 512 MB Model must be a SD Card. They have the same form factor, but they differ from MMC Cards. A SD Card device is capable of reading a MMC card, but not in opposite.

If anyone gets a high capacity mmc (128 or higher) I highly recommend getting a USM card reader. The one that comes with the MP3 player will take ages to fill the card!

In ebay I saw 512 MMC cards...NOT SD....
just check and see...just type:
512mb mmc
on the search..
I wonder does it work on the HPA-10?? does the size matter??
