Can I just flash my K850 with the new firmare? My phone is unlocked and unbranded, just wanna flash it with the new firmware if available.

From looking at DaVinci's firmware list they don't have a generic firmware yet, only the branded and customised ones and even then they don't have the Vodafone branded FW (not that anyone would want it). I'm waiting for DaVinci to release the new firmware in eneric rather than branded or customised.

PS...ALLWAYS ALLWAYS DPY UPPDATE YOUR
PHONE BY YOUR LOCAL WORKSHOP..(much better way...when you do it yourself, you put the software layer on layer (simple explained), but when you DPY flash(uppdate) you get the new fimware on a 100% clean phone(memory)..the phone gets faster, cleaner & less buggs...........ask you local work shop, they explain the different
pss. of course its free..(goes under the warranty)

You can use the SEUS (sony ericsson update service) to search for and update your phone of any new firmware available, details are on the Sony Ericsson website.

Alright there guys,
I've just had my K850i unlocked by totalgsm, and thought i'd tell someone about it! I couldn't find anywhere that could unlock these new A2 phones, but totalgsm are able and have done mine- took about 5mins! I'm so pleased. The company is excellent, efficient and the customer service is awsome! I would def recommend them to anyone wanting to unlock their phone!
