yes it is sumwhat like an auction site, for used gadgets..

and of course for brand new stuff...

there are other auction sites available in the Philippines,

auctions.ph / bidshot.com / tipidpc.com

choose whatever you want.. theres plenty. just follow the guidelines on the said sites.. then youll be on your way to a happy and secure online shopping.

you can use credit cards, if you want something more secure use paypal.
or to exactly be sure... do meet-ups. complete info is available on these sites so you wont get lost.

Tol, I suggest that you check out the powershot series of Canon. Might be slightly higher than your budget but I believe you won't regret it.

I remember the Canon A640 (10 mp) had good reviews but I think Canon already launched its newer sibling/s.

Sony, like what most say, are usually overpriced.

For cameras, I agree with one of the previous post about Canon and Nikon. I believe they are better and even more affordable/value for buck than Sony.

Also with Sony, you need to use Memory Sticks that are also very pricey compared to standard mem cards used by other brands.

please see links

For ixus 75

http://search.ebay.ph/search/[....]m37&satitle=ixus+75&category0=

For all available sony cyberhsots

Just check the seller's feedback and do meet-ups so if you may have issues on the item you can resolve it one time.

Obviously, not only used gadgets are sold in ebay. I bought all my previous SE phones there brand new and they all came with the SE warranty. Just be cautious of course and you may save 25 to 50% off the regular price

ISO is basically increasing the sensitivity of the camera's sensor so that you can cut down on the exposure time. The higher the ISO, the more 'noisy' the image, which basically means those grainy and coloured spots on the image. It means that you don't get as blurry photos really.

Here's a very good article:
http://www.dpreview.com/articles/compactcamerahighiso/

A Sony doing ISO 400 is not necessarily the same as a Canon doing ISO 400. Some are better, some are worse, some are more grainy, some are smoother.

If you insist on buying a Sony, they don't come cheap. The T200 is a very expensive camera.

yep.. T series are expensive.. even T70 which doesnt do much...
just with that touch screen feature...

Canon's A series powershots is doing good... its just that.. i dont want AAs on my digicam.

Also Nikon has Coolpix series...
Fuji has good lines of P&S (Finepix).

Actually there are tons of good cams... its up to your taste which one to grab for travel. and of course the one that would fit your budget.

happy hunting!
