> K850i vs N82 who will win?
Bookmark topic
Overall phone: I'd say N82. WiFi (!!!), GPS, 16M colors, bigger screen, Symbian. Argh! What's happening to SE?!?! It's lagging behind in terms of technology.
Photoshooting: We still can't say about image quality until N82 arrives, but based on N82 previews, they say its camera operation is quite fast. In terms of features though, K850 is better (best pic, image stabilization, red eye reduction, etc.). A plus for N82 though is having that amber light for autofocus which was in K800/K810. The LED light of K850 for autofocus is a pain in the eyes if you're shooting people.
Video recording: N82 wins, VGA recording. The only thing going for K850 is that LED light which could assist in low-light conditions.
Music: 3.5mm jack for N82. Enough said.

those shots just show the overexposure that is present with K850 auto settings. Just put down the exposure and they will look rather similar.

N82 color certainly looks better. K850 photos are so pinkish.
Unless the photos are posted in full resolution, it is pointless to make any conclusion.

Hi all,
It really depends on what you mean by win as if you mean which company will sell the most units and make the most profit from it and in doing so either attract or gain new customers i think that will be Nokia by a long way.
If you mean which will take the better pictures well that may be some K850's but definitely not all and by the time that the new firmwares get released by SE, Nokia will have realeased them both quicker and resolved any problems faster to.
Sorry but SE really screwed this launch up badly and by looks of it not only is it costing them money with all the returns but it appears to be costing them what was once their customers and you what they say once you go Nokia and a smart phone you never go back. Especially as the N82 has demand paging and is fast and well the K850 just isn't and who even knows if firmwares will be able to fix it as this new platform is far more processor intensive yet still only has the same processor as in previous models, i just don't get what it is with SE and not updating processors. Either they just have massive stock piles of these processors or they are just plain crazy.

SE is just profiteering. Why do SE want to put in any new hardware (or make innovation or new investment) when any crap they throw out will still find some gullible buyers who are just taken in by the Cybershot/Walkman label and willingly pay astronomically price.

In features the n82 simply owns the k850, just the fact that its symbian based has a lot to offer. GPS, motion sensor works in almost everything, including java games, its a smartphone for god sakes! of course its better than the k850.

N82 is far superior!! At a REALY good price

and to sweetin it just a bit more Nokia already have a whole bunch of Accelerometer apps to take full advantage of the Accelerometer, and SE? Uhm?
N82 in Beta version is already better than K850 in camera, cant wait to see pics with N82 final FW

You know, you should be specific with the title of this thread so that no people could ever dare to be out of topic as we were talking about cam quality not the overall features. another thing was that you're main title differs alot from your quote. are we talking about overall comparison or picture quality only?
Also, on that site no SE fan could ever expect K850 to win vs N82 picture quality wise as the site there implies - it's a blog site for N-series phones, meaning it's probably from a nokia user/bias/fanboy blogsite
comment from the first picture: as well all know(SE users who uses K850 camera and reads alot of comments from Eldar @ M-R) K850 macro ranges up to 5cm. meaning it can focus on subjects as near as the capability says. M-R proved that fact as well, but the review on that site do not know how to use K850 camera

so upon looking at the first samples the reviewer is obviously a nokia user and have no enough experience in SE controls.
