Yeah it does have DSP, the sound quality through headphones are quite good, throught the external speaker it sux, w810 is a much better all round phone but its getting old now. The 5310 have a better screen than w810 but much worse cam! So you decide what you want

If you want to stay with SE i'd suggest looking at the W580, or W910. W810 is pretty old now.

5310 is good,sound quality from headphones is great and plus you dont need an adapter,just plug your 3.5mm headphones in.ive had a w810i and now got the 5310.and i would say 5310 is better
