Great sites. But are there any basic instructions on how to flash the firmware onto the phone without breaking it?

I understand I need to use a different driver from the one included in SEUS software. But after that I'm not sure how it will work. How does I find out what CID my phone has. And what exactly is it?

Is XS++ easy to use? Does it need an active internet connection?

Is there a way to copy old firmware off the phone before putting new firmware on?

Can I put the generic firmware on instead of orange branded firmware?
